Ubuntu-firefox-can't connect
Hi,
I installed Ubuntu onto my laptop as a dual boot with Windows 7, everything went fine, I installed some software, connected to the net ect. Except now firefox can't load any web pages. The situation is: -pinging websites works, so internet is connected -When it first stopped working it appeared to be updating so I think I am running the latest version -I have tried all the different proxy settings on firefox to no avail -It never actually says it can't connect, for example on one page it did manage to load the page title above the menu bar. Any help appreciated.:) |

Hi repo, coming to my aid once again... :)
I am now browsing through firefox on Ubuntu. I restarted the router which seems like the logical thing to try almost first up, but I didn't think of it as every time I booted into windows to surf the net to fix the issue it worked fine so I didn't think the problem was with the router. When Ubuntu connected to my wireless connection it gave me the message: Quote:
