Ubuntu does not save wallpaper.

What do you have to do to make Ubuntu save the wallpaper you set? Every time I boot to Ubuntu I have to change the wallpaper. The ones i set are in the folder when I go to look for them but it always changes back to the defualt when I turn the computer on and off. Thanks again everyone for your help and iformation

I'll make an educated guess......When setting options, there is often a box to select "save as default", "set on startup", or something similar.
