Hey.! I got a CRT attached to a Asrock Wolfdale, Intel Core2 duo with Nvidia, run by Ubuntu 8.04.
I want to change the display to a flat LCD screen. Question: are there any compatibility issues..?? Merci beaucoup )
Nope, changing your monitor from a CRT to a LCD shouldn't have any problems unless they are different resolutions. Basically if your new monitor is bigger or the same size as your old, no problems should arise.
You may wish, however, to enable sub-pixel font smoothing once the new LCD is installed.
