ubuntu 8.04


i have a hp presario v4000 laptop, just wondering if i can installed ubuntu on the laptop,have heard that hp do have problem,i am enjoying the linux,and slowly learning the great work you guys doing,keep it up, cheers ian

Hi,

The best bet is to try a Live CD. Ubuntu comes on a Live CD and so you need only boot from the CD without actually installing anything. Then when you are satisfied, you can install.
