ubuntu 1502 conf file


Iam using ubuntu 15.02. Trying to gedit and save ushare.conf file. I can make changes but I can't save the changes. How would i save the file

You have to run gedit as root. Ubuntu uses sudo to get root privileges. So the command would be 'sudo gedit fileyouwanttoedit'. You will have to provide your password. Once gedit opens the file, make your changes, save the file.
