Question Ubuntu 11.04 - Supported/Unsupported STUFF ?

I am considering installing Ubuntu 11.04. Where can I find a definitive listing of components, hardware, and such, that is supported by Ubuntu 11.04? I don't want to blindly install Ubuntu if the "STUFF" in my computer is not supported. Such things as ... SATA HDs, CD-RWs, graphics cards, modem cards, monitors, etc. I also believe that 11.04 will allow for either Unity or Gnome installation. Is this correct? Thanks.
