Maybe, just try it out and leave the system (the modules/drivers) as it was when it worked.

I have installed the STA driver not connection no recognition of networks, I remove it the aromatically it started to recognize networks trying to connect but with no effect. Un installed and installed the B43 driver same as before, do you think that the B43 legacy one might work?
To answer your question I can not get to the point were i'm connected thru a wireless connection that was after installation of drivers the first time I installed linux and without anything specific in a middle of surfing the web it just disconnected that it came back and finally disconnected and I cant do anything to get it back.

I don't no much about these modules. I remember I had such an issue with my Lenovo x100e, Slackware64 connected, Gentoo64 didn't, it was the same module, downloaded from Broadcom and then installed on the system. I never found an explanation for this.

You can only try the possible modules one after an other, never more than one at the same time.

Ok I uninstalled the drivers and found out that STA does not work at all on my machine so left with B43 one I uninstalled it then installed it and restarted each time actually a couple of times went to windows no connection there too........so after a day I decided to get a 50' Ethernet cable and pretend everything is fine. A day later I boot into windows and I've got a connection boot in linux and nothing at first ...but two minutes later I've got a connection and ever since I've got a wireless connection. So I guess linux even regenerates and patches itself too.
