Ubuntu 10.04 notebook remix wont install

hey all i have finally found a distro i really like its ubuntu 10.04 netbook remix runs from mu 4gb usb stick fine but when i go to install it it freezes after i select what keyboard i want can anyone please help as really like this os

How about 11.04, does it install correctly? (it has 1 year more of development ...)
I know it's the new unity look and you may not like it.
and 11.10 is out in 10 days and will be the second release with Unity in it, so probably something that is more usable

That's my problem i dont like the way any of the new ones look, is there annother older one that looks the same as this one that might work?
