u DAV Exclude question

I am using Fedora 13 and Vmware which has xp on it. I have tried to use a sansa Clip mp3 player and when I plug it in it goes to Fedora instead of Vmware windows, which is running by the way. I understand that there is a way to tell Fedora not to recognize or to exclude the mp3 player when I plug it in... but being new to Linux I'm not sure how to give the command to exclude... any help here would be very much appreciated

Sandy
