Question Two linux distros on one partition?

Hi,

I know this has probably been asked before and I really ought to know the answer, but I would like to try out Gentoo 1.4. x386 and mandrake 9.1.

I have a hard-disk already partitioned for windoze2k and rh9, but don't know if I should install other distros on the already configured linux partition or make further partitions.

All advice gratefully appreciated!

Tom

No, you shouldn't, unless you format :)

Cheers,

i really suggest making new partitions, but if u dont want to lose data, i should work on one big partition.
