Turning Off Imwheel in Selected Applications

I have successfully installed imwheel and configured so that it works brilliantly with my WordPerfect 8. But it's a pain with every other application and I would like to limit imwheel so it only works with WordPercect. Can someone tell me how I can do this?

I have tried editing the .imwheelrc so that it contains instructions for Wordperfect, but then is followed by:

".*"
@Exclude

This doesn't work though. Anyone know why?

Is there a way to restrict it to WordPerfect just from the command line?

Thanks!
