TTY Keyboard Shortcut problem

Hey guys. I've just installed Manjaro XFCE, I was running Arch before that and I didn't have this issue. The thing is when I press ALT+F1/F7 the TTY1/7 comes on screen, not with CTRL+ALT+F1/F7as it should..

Anyone knows how to fix this?

I'm not sure I quite follow:
What happens when you press Ctrl+Alt+F1?
What happens when you press Ctrl+Alt+F7?
What happens when you press Ctrl+Alt+F8?

Same thing as if I didn't press Ctrl.. It fixed itself after I installed gdm.. Can't figure out how, but it did fix it.
