Trying to mount my usb jumpdrive in Fedora 2

I'm trying to figure out how to use my Lexar USB Jumpdrive in Fedora 2. I know that it can be done, since the linux computers at my school have it setup. All I really know is that I need to mount a usbcard or something. Thanks in advance for taking some time to help me out.

If it's the only USB drive in your system, mount the drive with 'mount /dev/sda1 /<some directory>' You can also add a line to your fstab file if you consistently mount your drive at a certain place in your file tree. HTH

I just bought a jump drive yesterday and all I had to do was plug it into one of the USB ports at the back of my PC and clicked on th "Computer" setting on my GNOME desktop and "flash" appeared as a drive on my system without any manual configuration.
