Now that you know the card is up and running, I'd suggest that you re-run netconfig. Unless they assigned you a specific IP address then select dhcp in the dialog.

Ok, so I found out that my /etc/resolv.conf has the necessary IP but I go to lynx and it doesn't work. All it says is that it is Unable to connect to remote host.

Also, I try to ping www.google.com and my computer freezes on me. Is there another part I'm supposed to add to it?

Hi,

You should be able to edit with vi, nano or any test editor.

What part do I edit? It's already got the main DNS in the /etc/resolv.conf

I tried using lynx but it doesn't let me get online.

Anyone? I'm not sure what to edit. My /etc/resolv.conf already shows my DNS but lynx won't connect.

It's finally connected! Thanks for all your help guys! (not in sarcasm, please don't take it that way )
Found out all I had to do was reset my dhcpcd and now lynx, FF, and seamonkey all work.

You can delete topic now if you'd like, thanks so much to all those who helped.

Hi,

At LQ, the thread is not deleted. Unless there's a major reason to delete.
