Trying to connect from my terminal in fedora to school ONNET 32.2.0 Network

Hi,
I'm new to linux and the teacher give us access to this network called ONNET 32.2.0 She also gave me a host address: which look like this 10.1.3.10 Terminal type: VT 420, VT320, VT220. I tried to connect from my laptop using my own terminal and after it connect i get a blank screen with a flashing square, it doesn't ask me for a user name neither a password why is that?

Have you tried entering commands at the flashing cursor? You have, most likely, been logged into a guest account on the network.
Try - pwd & id
