Trouble withRedhat 9.0 and wireless internet.

A friend of mine has recently installed Linux 9.0 which I gave her. Her computer is a Dell and it uses a wireless connection to a main computer in her house. She cannot figure her linux to connect to the internet even though all connections are secure in the back of her computer. Will she have to use a direct connection?

Put the card in and do this
Main Menu > Internet Configuration Wizard > Wireless Connection > See if your card is detected, if not thn find out the make and manufacturer and look up for drivers to install it.

Its a Compaq computer, but the wireless card in it is a Dell TrueMobile card, BAH! She says that you have to install the drivers from the company CD. Because it is a windows installer it will not work on linux.
