trouble with limewire and k3b

I FINALLY got limewire downloaded, and I have k3b. How do I get it to burn the MP3's I downloaded. I have dropped the songs down and hit the burn button. I get the successfully completed song within 30 seconds, and then my computer will not read it. Now if I try again it will not let me drag the song down down. it says" unsupported format" Is there a way to burn it so that it is compatiable on my computer and any c.d player? I am so frusterated. On windows this is no problem. Can someone please help me!

Please don't say something like "on windows this is no problem". First of all, it doesn't help solve the problem, and also, Windows has its own set of problems. Plus, you can't get K3b for Windows!

Anyway, you may be missing some required libraries for K3b. Check out k3b.plainblack.com/requirements for a list of everything that you'll need. lib mad is probably what's giving you trouble; that's the one used for mpeg decoding.

O.k thanks. Where do I go when I get to that web site? I read down the main page. I'm not very good at this computer thing. So it is possibal to do what I am trying to do? Can you give me a little more info about that page? Thanks I appreciate it. I am trying to learn this system, it's just not easy

Click on MAD MPEG Audio Decoder Library to download libmad.
You might want to look at Ogg Vorbis library and FLAC++ library as well.
