Sorry can't help you with the card.

You can run windows executable programs using vmware or wine.

But windows programs will not run natively in linux nor can you install / use windows drivers for linux.

there is no noauto entry in my /etc/fstab file. here is how it looks like:

/dev/hdb2 / ext2 defaults 1 1
/dev/hdb3 /fat vfat defaults 1 0

could you tell me exactly how should my fstab look like? my CD-ROM is /dev/hdd

/dev/hdd /mnt/cdrom iso9660 user,exec,nodev,suid,rw,noauto,umask=0 0 0

i don't feel like thinking right now, so i just posted mine with a few changes.

i thought about it a little, and a cdrw drive, if you've set it up for scsi-emulation
and are using it for burning, should be /dev/scd0 probably.
also make sure the mount point exists. /mnt/cdrom
for all i know you have a cdrom drive that you mount there.
