Trouble installing Wireless Card on RHEL 5

I installed OEL (RHEL 5) Linux for the first time and the wireless card that I installed is not working out. The card is a dwa-552 and is not being detected.

I've been working on this for a couple of days now...

lspci shows the adapter and I've installed madwifi since the card is supposed to be supported but no luck. I'm really frustrated and ready to get another wireless card that will work.

Does anyone know a wireless card that comes with linux drivers that will work with RHEL5? Is there another option that I am not thinking of?

Thanks

Hi,

Intel cards are well supported, also most cards containing RALink chipset will work.

Great. Do you have a specific model that you can recommend? I've learned my lesson about trying to guess.

Will this work on Red Hat?

As a linux amateur, I'm not sure I should be trying this kind of solution but would it work in Red Hat?

Otherwise, can someone please recommend a wireless card that will work flawlessly with my Red Hat? Thanks!
