Trouble accessing windows media player on Acer aspire one
Hi
I am new to Linux. Recently purchased an Acer Aspire One with linpus and discovered that I cannot use windows media player. Is there any simple solution to this problem? |
Linux is not Windows, hence you will not find Windows Media Player in Linux. Do you have Linux installed at all? If not you are in the wrong place to ask.

i never used linpus but i assume there is some media player installed by default like xine, kaffeine, mplayer, gmplayer, ...
also if you bought it in the us, it would be illigal for it to come with codecs pre-installed so you would have to download and install them manually (do a search for essential-codecs @ mplayerhq). what happens when you try to play a media file ? |
