triple boot win7, Mint 13, server 08 ? is it poss?

Got a quick question, I currently have a laptop with win7 on the first partition, mint 13 on the second, I need to add a server 08 (for school) I tried doing this in VMware but it is just toooo slow. Is it possible to add the 3rd OS? I am well versed in windows and learning Linux (been around since the dos days so I am comfortable with a command line), without killing the Linux install? I know windows has the ability to fix the mbr/boot loader, and I thought Linux did also, and the server would reside on a partition in between the other 2 osís. Currently using the GRUB boot loader not quite sure what else you might need, hardware wise its more than enough to handle the server os. Thanks in advance

What kind of laptop?

With old partition tables, you can have a maximum of four primary partitions on a hard drive. Windows must be on a primary partition, IIRC, so keep that in mind.

A such, you can install all three operating systems. If you install one of the Windows OSes last you will need to install GRUB.

its fairly new HP CQ-57, well as luck would have it the server os will be last, when you say install grub, do you mean reinstall it? as i am using grub to choose my os now, so if i install my 3rd and final os, would i use my mint install disk to reinstall grub or repair it? i currently have 3 partitions, but I'd have to look it may be on a volume (dont remember off the top of my head) and there is a windows propriatay 200 mb at the begining of the drive (mbr/boot loader not sure what they call it in 7 they changed it with vista) 2nd partition is 300gb (this is the one i will resize to get room for the server part) and then mint 100 gb, so i would still be under the 4 partition limit if its not a volume

Yes my apologies I did mean reinstall.

It's fairly new, do you know if it's a GPT partition table? If so, I don't think you're under such restrictions anyway. Those restrictions were for MSDOS type partition tables.

You can use an install disc to reinstall grub, likely. I haven't ueed a Mint install disc but they pretty much all have a rescue mode.

apparently it is a

GPT partition, diskpart claims it to be so! and disk manager allowed me to shrink another 100 gb off my win7 partition and format it. i am going to attempt to install my server os, if i dont have any issues or questions i will mark this one as solved! thanks again
