Heh...good idea.

Why not just use the text based stuff? I only boot X half the time I'm on my comp, 'cause I found a good AIM (/ICQ/MSN/Yahoo/Jabber etc) client (centerICQ), a good irc client (irssi), lynx is plenty good for browsing. Now if I can only figure out PINE.

i tried lots of icq/trillian pendants but i did not even bring one up to work... very annoying... even icq2go doesn't work because of missing java plug ins i don't know how to install :/
