Trapped in Grub

Hi,
I installed a RH distribution in dual boot on my 98 machine some months ago, but finally didn't use it due to modem incompatibility.
Now I removed the Linux partition with PartitionMagic, but when I now turn on the PC, he automatically boots grub and I don't know how to get from grub to my WIN98 operating system using a text parser, so I'm not stuck in Grub so to speak.
Can anyone give me instructions on this?
Thanks!

Using DOS fdisk utility:
fdisk /mbr
will erase grub from the Master Boot Record.

Well the thing is that I first need to get into DOS to do this, and that is not possible: I get the grub parser only.
How to get out of grub and into DOS (and then onto windows?)

I don't suppose you have an emergency boot floppy?

You can boot the 98 install CD to a DOS prompt where you can use the fdisk command.

I really haven't used the grub shell enough so I do not know the exact steps to boot.

Yes indeed I had such a floppy. I made it during RH installation, and completely forgot about it!
Meanwhile I used it and yippie, it got me into dos so I could run the command you gave me to remove grub. So now Windows boots again! THANKS!

It will be a while before I try to install Linux again. It's a nice OS, but the problem of incompatibility with all kinds of hardware makes it difficult to use.
