Transparency wierdness - Wallpaper from Gnome shows up in KDE
I have both Gnome and KDE installed, and switch back and forth via .xinitrc files in my home directory. I installed the MRXVT terminal emu the other day b/c I wanted a lightweight tabbed, transparent terminal that ran across Gnome and KDE, as well as Enlightenment.
I have different wallpapers in Gnome vs. KDE. In Gnome I have a Tux wallpaper, in KDE I have some gears as my background.
Anyway, things had been working fine until last evening. I had MRXVT running in KDE and it was showing my gear wallpaper through the transparency just fine. I was fiddling with some default setting and tints and such, and then noticed that the transparency was showing my Tux wallpaper (the one that is default in Gnome) instead of my KDE gears background.
I can't figure out what happened or how to get it to show my KDE background. Konsole, by the way, shows my KDE gears just fine in transparent mode. Also, the root user under KDE shows it's KDE backround just fine. Running MRXVT in Gnome shows the Gnome desktop just fine.
Any ideas?
