transparency and shadin aterm question

Hi, Ive juste downloaded aterm and ./configure --enable-transparency=yes but when i add -sh i lost transparency..
this is how i launch aterm: aterm -fg orange -tr -trsb -sh 80
what is wrong?

Thanks!

Try +sh. For some reason the flags in aterm are extremly wierd if you ask me. Some of them work when you use + and some of them work when you use -.

thanks for the answer but it didn't work..
when i do +sh ## it's all transparent and when i do -sh ## it's not transparent at all ...
i really don't know what i'm doing wrong...

What do you mean it didn't work? It made it transparent right? Isn't that what you wanted? I don't understand what you are looking for here.

phoenix99 06-26-2004 03:56 PM

hehe sorry
i want it transparent but not completly transparent..
i want a "black semi transparent" ...
aterm -ls -fg orange -bg black -tr -trsb +/-sh 80

when i dot a +sh 80 it"s completly transparent (not darken..) and when -sh 80 it"s darken but not transparent...

Crashed_Again 06-26-2004 03:58 PM

oh I see. Did you try using '-tint black' as one of your options?

phoenix99 06-26-2004 04:02 PM

don't work :(
aterm -ls -tint black -tr -fg orange

{aterm -ls -tr -sh 60 -tinttype true -tint black -fg orange}
