Trailing Backslash problem

Greetings,
Since moving over to the new server, I am having issues with trailing backslashes for directories. If I were hosting LQ, the following would not work:
http://linuxquestions.org/questions

However, this does:

This never used to happen on the old server, and from what I can tell, it doesn't happen on most servers. Anybody have any idea what's going on?

It's not LQ. It's my server. I'm wondering why that's happening. =/

Ah - sorry for the misunderstanding.

Can you give us a bit of information:
What were you using? - software and distro.

Have you changed any configuration options?
