traceroute


when i am using traceroute command, it is giving the erro as follow:


traceroute punjabiadda.com
punjabiadda.com: Temporary failure in name resolution
Cannot handle "host" cmdline arg `punjabiadda.com' on position 1 (argc 1)



punjabiadda.com is my domain

You might have a DNS problem. Try the IP address (174.121.102.82) instead of the name and see what happens. If it works then you need to look at your DNS setup.

yup..I changed my dns settings in /etc/resolv.conf as follows:

nameserver 8.8.8.8

and now it is wrking
