Can anyone in really plain simple instructions tell me how to install tovid? I know it should be really easy but I'm having one of those days! I'm on mepis 6.0......

Here's their installation wiki page. You should be able to install using the "from the source tarball" section. Just open a console session, and enter the commands from the instruction page. Good luck with it

If I recall, I was able to use the Ubuntu debs from here

Don't forget the tovid-gui if you want the GUI for tovid as well.

dpkg -i file.deb if more than one .deb put them on the same command line at once, as root user of course.
