Looks like the nvidia driver is definitely being loaded.

I would say that your problem is solved, in terms getting a desktop going with nvidia drivers, yes?

So your new question is about youtube, right?
What kind of problem did you run into? system crash? stuttering video? codec issue?

Elaborate.

The Nvidia driver did not work for me completely crash of system watching youtube at first, but after 3 forced reboots the system crashes randomly. Nvidia is not stable for me and I am still having the same kind of crash than before. As a matter of fact I got a system crash trying to make a post here in linuxquestions.org. I am done trying that Nvidia driver. It is going to damage my computer and I won't take that change.
I reinstall Manjaro and I am using nouveau it seems a little bit more stable, but I get this kind of flickering screen like this:

http://youtu.be/TIrqa6mEp38

Also the video playback is so choppy and slows down randomly.
Do you need more information?

Getting the video drivers to work is like the number one issue with distros. I've had less trouble with gentoo. I suspect its because its a source based distro which helps you compile the software with USE flag combinations. I've got debian to install driver but you need to intstall and tweak a lot more stuff. I would suggest trying a source based distro, you may have more luck and learn how the kernel and modules work.
