<total idiot> Need help with TV-Out

I'm using SUSE 10

The graphics card is Connect3d's equivilant to the ATI RADEON 9250SE with 128mb ram.

Now, I know to get TV out working... you need ATI's driver... and yep I know where to get it.

Here's the file I was recomended to get , though there are other options:

ati-driver-installer-8.19.10-i386.run

Unfortunatly, I don't know what to do with that file afterwards. I did try another option, and it did install an ATI utility, but I dont think I have it configured properly because none of the options in the utility have any effect whatsoever on this display or the TV I'm trying to send video to.

Your file is a binary file.

To run it at the command prompt:

chmod 755 filename.bin
./filename.bin

where filename.bin is your ati file.

Have fun!

Well.. not so good at the moment... Display came out all washed out on my monitor (but perfectly on the TV)... like someone took the brightness/contrast settings on an old TV and cranked them all the way up or down or something. lol Anywhere to get at color/brightness/contrast adjustments?.

Anyone know for a quick and dirty way to correct Contrast/Gamma/Brightness?
