Torrent client in a shell


Is it possible to install a torrent client inside a shell?
Can you tell me a way to install a torrent client in my shell or what client i should use?

I'm using the official bt client -> http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/
there's both, a gui and a text mode version.
