Smile Tomcat 7


HI,

Can you please help in knowing that how can i HUP tomcat as in apache we use kilall -HUP httpd and in exim killall -HUP exim. what should we do in case of tomcat

killall -HUP tomcat7

presuming tomcat7 is the name of the daemon process that you can see when you run "ps -ef". I hope you can see a pattern emerging here.

When i do that i am getting only this. can you please let me know what is the alternative for this.

ps -ef | grep -i tomcat

You know, I feel pretty stupid now to be honest... :s Yes, java...

so "kill -HUP 8037" will hit that specific java process.
