Think about Linux kernel as about the set of different drivers. Usually it's enough to install Linux distribution. It includes Linux kernel and the kernel includes the appropriate drivers.

Did you install some Linux distribution? Did you encounter some problems with your Ge-Force graphics card? If so report here what distribution you use and what problem you encountered.

ubuntu 8.04, Knoppix 5.31 and Slackware 13.0 32-bit work with the GeForce 7200, more specifically marked on the hardware as a "GeForce 7200 GS GV-NX72G512E2 Rev 2.3" and reported as a "GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS (G72)" by the NVIDIA driver. I have not tried using it with other distros.

The driver used on ubuntu 8.04 was envyng-gtk from the ubuntu repositories. The driver used on Slackware 13.0 was NVIDIA-Linux-x86-185.18.36-pkg1.run from http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx.
