TL-WN821N - backtrack5
 
hello,
Iam using backtrack5 on vmware, with TP-LINK TL-WN821N wirless card , wich reconized in backtrack as ATHEOS USB WLAN.
until now everything is fine
I bought another wifi card from the same kind , exactly the same,
TP-LINK TL-WN821N but this one reconized as REALTEK USB WLAN, and does not works with backtrack 5 or at least not getting reconized by "airmon-ng"... is there any solution for that? any driver update may-be.. or anybody knows why it gets reconized this way?

ok i asked around and the newer fimware of TP-LINK TL-WN821N does not supports packet reading and its not atheos anymore it's REALTEK
