Title bar text overlaps on KDE

Ok, I realize this is a very minor and nit-picky issue, but on my system--SuSE 10.1, KDE 3.5.4--when the text is longer than the open section of the title bar, it simply overlaps (or rather underlaps) with the buttons on the top right of the window. Is there any option that will fix this ,ie display: "Long title text - Konq..." rather than displaying the whole thing. Or will I just have to put up with this little glitch?

That's pretty odd. What font / size / style do you have under the system-settings (KDE control panel) -> Appearance -> Fonts -> Window title?

It's Sans Serif 11, regular style. I only have this problem when the title is very long and the window is narrow. So my question to anyone else with KDE is what happens when you do this? If you can resize a window so that it is narrower than the length of the text on top, what happens?

When I resize a window to be more narrow than the title-bar text, the title-bar text is truncated. See this screenshot for an example.

Are you using some non-standard window decoration style? I'm using "plastik".

Ok, that looks like the answer. With Plastik style window decorations, I got rid of the problem. I was using SUSE style window decorations before.

It might be worth making a bug report to the SuSE people if it's something specific to their theme/style.
