Timestamp next to prompt


Hi guys,

Using distro: Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update 3)

Is it possible to have a timestamp on the left of the [root@localhost ~]# prompt?

Add this line in your $HOME/.bash_profile

PS1="[\d \t \u@\h:\w ] $ "; export PS1
