time displayed KDE

Hi,

I'm running KDE, and the time is displayed in 24hr format.

I've tried using 'date' and the 'control-panel' to set it, and in the control-panel it's displayed as am/pm, but in KDE it's 24hr.

How do I rectify this?

thanks for your time
//Santa

right click on the date and time in the lower left corner of your screen, choose date & time format, 4 tabs over you'll see time & dates, select it, then choose the format you want from the drop down menus. select apply and restart you x server. hope that helps.
good luck.
