Tilde metacharacter
what combination can created the tilde metacharacter on fedora 13?
|
What exactly do you mean?
If you want to use "~" without it being taken as a metacharacter, then use \~ or "~" depending on programming language. If you want to know how to get a tilde on a keyboard that doesn't have one, that depends on keyboard language: German would be AltGr+. PS Unless you have a very good reason, you should not be using Fedora 13: it's years out of date and no longer supported. |
Thank you I will upgrade fedora 13, I am taking the Linux A+ preparation, and we are using fedora 13.
