Thunderbird mail

Hi all

I've managed to get Thunderbird installed and can run it from a terminal. Can anyone help me get an Icon for it on the bottom panel or the Applications menu so I can start it from there. Running Suse 9.1

Thanks

You should be able to right click on the taskbar. Go to "add to panel" selection (or something to that effect). Go to "Non-KDE Application" and select that. IT will come up with a dialog box. in the command section enter in the command that you run from the cli. then select your icon at the bottom. You should be all set.

I assumed KDE since that is Suse's featured desktop.

justin_p, just made sure...after all, there _are_ people who use different apps than those that are "default"
