those little kde pop-up warnings


How do i get rid of those annoying little pop-up's in kde? Every time an error occurs i get to warnings. the normal one with the ok box and then the hovering kind. its very annoying. I had them disabled then i updated to suse 9.3 and i get for the life of me find where do get rid of them. thanks.

look in the KDE control center.............these pop ups are called tooltips........and they can be disabled....

thanks but that wasnt exactly what i was looking for. Like say for example I get kicked off a service in kopete... I get one dialog box that says "you have been disconnected or something" and has an ok box. like the typical error box you have to click to close. And in addion to this I get the same message in a box with no ok button. If i single click them (or wait long enough) they go away. I hate them. How do i get rid of them? And why do they exsist in the first place... is it b'cuz of multiple desktops? and if thats the case can you turn them off when they occur on the working desktop?

You will probably have to do this for individual applications. Check in the configuration options to see if these dialogue boxes can be disabled.
