This will be easy

For some reason there is no symbolic link for fdisk.
I type "ln -s /sbin/fdisk fdisk" and it takes it
but when i try to use the link it doesn't work. What am I leaving out?

You need to put it in your path in order for it to be ran with just the single keyword. To determine your path, just do a echo $PATH.

You could probably do this:

Code:
 ln -s /sbin/fdisk /usr/bin/fdisk
