themes help..

hi, ive been trying to install themes on my red hat 9 but none seem to work..

i looked around on here for similar posts and i realise that the gtk is an older version but i even went looking for themes made for the older versions like gtk1 but still nothing seems to work. why is this?

ive been using the themes thing under preferences to install em. i tried the button and drag n srop but nothing.

is it possible for me to upgrade to gtk2 or anything like that?

any help would really be appreciated thanks in advance.

khuti
