Theme Installation


Ive looked around on the fourm and i couldent find an answer to this. I just d/l a new theme its in the .tar.gz ... How to make it into my theme for my desktop?

I think what Hitokiri is asking is what desktop is it for. KDE, Gnome, Fluxbox, etc. Where and how to install is different depending on which you use.

It's RedHat 8.0, so whatever desktop is default on that, I also think it's Gnome...

I don't use gnome but this link may help. It's a FAQ re: gnome themes of various types. HTH. I just figured out how to do this with fluxbox.

I hope the link shows up OK. I havn't tried this yet
