Unhappy the user/password screen locked me of

i load rh9.0 through Grub.
the user/password screen refuses to accept my password and says "turn to administrator".
this is my personal system so who is the "admin" for godness.
how can i unlock this screen and enter the system
thanks

If you are the sys admin and not someone trying to hack someone elses drive or puter, then edit your initab file and boot into single user mode. That's usually level 1 check your distro.

Or use a live cd and mount the file system you're trying to access.

People will be hesitant to answer questions like these because if you are sys admin you should know roots password.
