suse rpms here, so i assume by what your saying, is that your dual booting, so download this in windows, fire up linux, mount the windows drive, and then copy it over..

I have suse 8.2, NVIdIA nForce, have downloaded drivers and put them on a floppy disc.

how do i install it??

have looked at NVIDIA's instructions but don't understand them.

sorry to ask such a basic question, I really haven't a clue

(ps picked up an old pc with linux only, given up with the old laptop for the moment)

thanks for your help.........

I've sorted it!!

1) get your internet working as first priority (this involved getting the network card driver from nvidia - only 50kb or so)
2) download the updates from suse (YOU)
3) it will do the rest for you!!!

I am v happy now!
