the best way to upgrade red hat?

I just got red hat 6.0 (my buddy unloaded it on me to try out) on my smaller 366 rig. What's the best way to upgrade from 6.0 to 8.0? Buy the bible and cds or hit the net for upgardes? Also, i'm going to be using linux for web site design. I'll be needing to get the files to my xp machine. Will xp and linux talk to each other when it come to file transfers?

Personally, I would buy the bible and cd's, or get some buddy with a broadband connection to download the iso's and burn me a copy.

Linux and XP will talk just fine using the samba package.

Hope this helps
