Talking "Ladies & Gentlemen........"

After having gone through HELL and back, I've finally determined that my iWILL K266-Plus isn't going to work with modern Linux distros. It's going to take a 586 or higher to run what I need run.

So, I've talked it over with the wife (ALWAYS a good thing to do, fellas, keeps you out of 'trouble', LOL!) and we're going to see about getting me a laptop with Linux already ON it. I'll look at E-BRAY, as a last resort. I'll BUY one before I go there. Too many rip-off artist there for my liking....I've been "burned" once too often.

I'm sure there is something that I can do to earn a few, unreported dollars to get me the laptop.

A HUGE Merci Beaucoups to all of you who tried to help. One day, I hope to be able to repay the kindness to you or pass it on to help another

GOD BLESS,
Warmest Regard,

Buck/KA5LQJ

It's not necessary for it to already have Linux on it. You just have to be sure that Linux supports the hardware.

OTOH, if you buy a laptop with Windows on it you are paying M$ for something you won't use!
