Text to Speech - Speech to Text in Linux & C/C++
 
Hi All genius there !

I want a tool / library / package in C/C++/Python

for basically Text to Speech - Speech to Text in Linux.

I've tried ...
  1. pyttsx in python , but it runs only in windows as expected, in Linux (openSUSE 11.2 , the script just hangs up :doh:)
  1. festival in C. - in Ubuntu - Could not configured it successfully

please help

Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, there are no good free TTS or STT tools available for Linux. If somebody is aware of one or the other I would love to know about it.
