Terratec Cinergy T2 USB: how can I use this in Linux (Ubuntu 6.06, ppc)?
Hello. I'm new to linux and to this forum, so I'm sorry if I'm missing anything here.
My distro is Ubuntu 6.06, and my kernel is 2.6.15-26-powerpc, and the computer is an Apple eMac G4. I have a Terratec Cinergy T2, which I've been using with OS X for a while. I've just recently installed Ubuntu and I'm wondering how to get it working with it. Are there drivers I need to install, and if so where can I get them? Or can anyone point me in the direction of a guide for this? The Terratec Cinergy T2 is connected via USB. The output of lsusb is Quote:
However, I haven't the faintest idea what I need to do to use the device. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be most grateful. :) ETA: Ok, now I've found that Kaffeine should be able to work with this adapter, so I've tried that. It detected the T2. I configured it to use what appears to be my nearest transmitter, and then scanned for channels, but it found no channels. Hmm. ETA (2): Argh, well I've got it working now, but I'm not sure how I did it. *is a useless newbie* Sorry. :) |

I have a similar problem. My TV board is a Terratec Cinergy HT PCI DVB-T, and it isn't recognized in Ubuntu :(
