Terminal Screen Size

I have looked and looked and looked and can not seem to find out how to change the screen size in tty mode. No gui, just plain command line--and if it's a 'one liner' I'll die...

Thanks in advance,
Slappy

I was hoping not to have to install a 3rd party application...is there any way without one?

Try passing a vga option to your kernel at boot - eg:
vga=788

Update:

I recently loaded Slackware and was greeted with the most inviting font and layout! Needless to say I upgraded my RH box to Slackware.

Thanks all,
Slappycakes
